Internal Communications for Global Staff & Live Earth Music.
OBJECTIVE
2007’s Live Earth music spectacular saw 24 hours of music being played by over 150 artistes in eight concerts, across seven continents.
As the event’s global sponsor, Philips developed a communication piece for its global staff to thank them for their involvement, and to reflect on what had been achieved.
SOLUTION
Create a perfect-bound book and associated CD ROM, packed with vibrant imagery and inspirational copy to reinforce the message that the Philips brand, and environmental care, are intrinsically related.
Book was printed using Resista Eco Intensive vegetable inks on a 100% ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp with FSC certification and was totally recyclable.
RESULTS
A greater awareness by staff of their company’s involvement in environmental products and care.
18,551 switches to energy saving lamps made by Philips employees (and counting). That’s the equivalent to taking 1,299 cars off our roads.
